If you've been watching my YouTube channel; Medal Melodies, then you'll know that I announced the winner of Golden VGM #500 today!
The winner is Bayonetta, with the epic masterpiece of a song, "Blood and Darkness". And as such, here is the scenario of which the song plays in.
I'll admit I could have done better. But I've been going through a bit of an art block recently, and so I haven't been in quite the mood to draw. At least, not with passion.
But even then, I still felt like experimenting a bit with his one. I can't remember which artwork it was, but I remember looking at it and thinking it could be a great influence for this piece (I think it was official artwork for Zelda: Twilight Princess now that I think about it).
The aforementioned artwork I believed used pencils to give off a well-toned, dynamic feel. And so, I tried the same, except I used watercolour and pencil instead of just coloured pencils.
On the whole, yeah it looks a bit choppy, but for some reason, I really like the colours I used in this. They all seem to go together really well. I probably could've made Jeanne and Bayonetta stand out a bit though.
Well folks, this is my last illustration for 2013! Happy New Year, and I look forward to what I will produce in 2014! ^^
And incidentally, I can't wait for Bayonetta 2 either! I'm really stoked!
This picture again reminds me how fond I am of your composition in your works.
Dynamic, but not too much that it's hard to follow. The colors also work well together to frame the picture very well!
Bayonetta was a very fun game, although I only played portions of it, since I never owned it myself. I too am excited for the sequel!
Thank you very much! ^^
Maybe you should play Bayonetta 1 in its entirety before playing Bayonetta 2.
That way, you can prepare your skills for Bayonetta 2.
An interesting style it is a good picture as well
Great work! I love it!
Wow beautiful !!! nice job
