Golden Sky Hero: The Skorned

Though I'm still not entirely sure about the colour scheme, could still use some work. But I'm very confident in their shape design.

These guys are the villains of Golden Sky Hero. They're not established characters with backgrounds, they are merely grunts among a whole army. In other words, there are many more of them that look like these guys. Think of them as the Koopa Troopas of Golden Sky Hero, the Genome Soldiers, the Egg Fighters, the Lickers, etc. etc.

Now then, let's get on with the main points about these guys:

1) - Their bodies are mostly made out of darkness (Think of it as dark fur). Because of this, they have an ethereal quality to them, making any wounds they receive in battle regenerate. Keep in mind that they are not made out of pure darkness, just half-darkness. Why? I think that answer will be saved for the future...

2) - Though their bodies are impervious to physical attacks, that doesn't mean they are invincible. Every Skorned wears one piece of their native armour on their bodies. This armour is their life source. If it breaks, they die. So ironically what should be their protection is actually their weakness. The upside to this is that the armour can't be easily broken. It would take a great amount of force to destroy them. The spikes around the armour plates are attachments to their bodies. The pattern on the armour is also symbolic of something, but I'll let you figure out what it is...

3) - The Skorned can use weapons. What specific weapons is open for debate, but really, they can use any weapon, such as swords, spears, daggers, and hammers.

4) - Each Skorned has different coloured skin, just for variety's sake.

5) - Skorned can consist of male and female figures. The big differences between males and females visually is the eye shadow, which for males crooks downward and for females crooks upward, and their chest armour, which for females can be evident that they are breastplates.

6) - If you haven't noticed yet, the designs of the three left Skorned are based on dog breeds. The first one is based on a Mastiff, the second one is based on a Pug, and the third one is based on a Bichon Frise. There are many more variations of these guys dependent on different dog breeds, but I'll leave designing more variations for later.

7) - Where there's grunts, there's elites. And these guys are the elites, the most tenacious and dangerous of them all. They are very easily identified by their design. Unlike the grunts, there is little variation in the elites. Their designs are all based on coyotes, since coyotes are actually the closest to wolves in the canine family.

8) - This is the head honcho, the biggest and deadliest one of them all, the leader of the Skorned, Lord Skolliath. He serves as the primary antagonist for Golden Sky Hero. He is completely enshrouded in shadow for the time being because that's just his way of living, and also totally not because I haven't got a concrete design for him yet. Nope.

9) - This is merely a size comparison between Skolliath and Artie. As you can see, Artie has major trouble ahead of him...

Well, that's it. There's bound to be more design decisions in the future, but please let me know what you think in the comments. I could really use some input! ^-^
